A bio-sourced renovation using hemp from the 91.530 Le Marais farm.
L'Auberge is a 19th-century building that hosted visitors to the Chevreuse Valley until 2007. Its reopening as a creative retreat in June 2024 marks a common desire of 91.530 Le Marais and the Ile de France Region to revitalize the 91.530 terroir by combining strong local ties with the horizons of our residents.
Hemphouse 91.530, in dialogue with architect Eleonora Santucci, designed the renovation of L’Auberge according to bio-sourced principles, economy of means, and short circuits.
Conceived in collaboration with the Vicat group, the proprietary assembly Chevreuse Chartreuse Hemp, Vintage 2022 from the 91.530 hemp fields located less than 300m from the Inn, covers the 19th-century stone walls. Chevreuse Chartreuse is an excellent thermal, acoustic, and aesthetic insulator.
In collaboration with 91.530 Le Marais, L'Auberge hosts artists, designers, andarchitects year-round in residence around the theme of the living, materials from our territory, and soil health. They benefit from L’Auberge's facilities, workshops, and 91.530 exhibition spaces.
Less than 50 km from Paris, our 91.530 Le Marais farm has developed an interdisciplinary project where art and agriculture meet and converge into a common vision: exploring the possibilities of the living.
